Un-fucking-believable.
Neocon mouthpiece and conspiracy-theorist Frank Gaffney scurried out of his hole again today to spread his typically deranged propaganda on Hardball. Deranged? Yup. According to Gaffney, President Obama is sending "coded" messages of "submission" to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
Why is a nutcase like Gaffney on my TV? Why does MSNBC continue to allow somebody like him to pollute our airwaves? It wasn't enough when Gaffney appeared on Hardball last December and said this:
My position is it is regrettable that any Americans died. It is regrettable that they had to die, but I believe they did have to die. The threat we knew about was the chemical capability that Saddam Hussein had used against his own people. And that’s the reason I’m still delighted that we did what we did.
Today Gaffney was back with some more outrageous, incendiary rhetoric:
I'm a member of Dick Cheney's fan club. I think he's absolutely right that when you, yes, have wonderful roadshows that encourage all kinds of acclaim from people by telling them what they want to hear. Whether it's our European friends that you're a trans-nationalist just like they are or our Muslim enemies that you're willing to submit to them. Which is I think the kind of groundbreaking that was done today.
When David Corn challenged Gaffney to back up his "submit" comment, this was the propagandist's response:
When [Obama] uses the word "respect" in the context of a waist-bow to the King of Saudi Arabia for example and talks about respectful language. Which is code for those who adhere to Sharia that we will submit to Sharia...I'm telling you the code is they receive it in the Taliban headquarters and Al-Qaeda caves...
What. The. Fuck. Why is this incendiary moron on my TV? On the supposedly "liberal" MSNBC no less?
