Newest political art by the incomparable Zina Saunders. She is someone to bookmark or subscribe to. There's no one working today who spills into so many ranges of political expression, with such beautiful illustrations.
You'll recognize some of her works below the fold.
Her Lieberman "jilted bride" image is among her best. Then there's "the Morning After" with McCain waking up to see Sarah Plain next to him in bed.

Her illustrations appear in magazine like The Nation and The Progressive.
Dick & Nancy in some hellish version of a Nancy Drew mystery is my favorite to date, knocking off my prior favorite, Joe the Plumber, War Correspondent. As far as I am concerned, it's about time someone captures the duplicitous nature of Madame Decider. While the GOP's efforts to taint her right now, as a distraction from Torture Investigations, is appalling, so is her track record -- from "off the table" to failure to produce results in her "culture of corruption" and "draining the swamp" campaign promised.
Although she's a Democrat, she does not represent the interest and views of liberals like me in her district in San Francisco. She doesn't even come close. How she has managed to go unscathed for so long is beyond me. A consummate liar and caver to corporatist interests, she first earned a terrible reputation with me when, in 2003, she ran a full-page ad in the Washington Post claiming Howard Dean was an anti-Semite. Just absurd. Then later when he ran for DNC Chair, she publicly scolded and criticized him, then made a point of not meeting with him, while she met all the other candidates for that job. In short, anyone who sees Howard Dean as the enemy is an enemy of mine.
