Major Life Changes at Daily Kos

Can I suggest a recurring feature on Daily Kos? I've been here from the very beginning, but I'm terrible at keeping track of all the users and what's going on with them. What if there were a sort of small-town journal of all the life changes of Daily Kos users?

Notable events could be anything from getting married to getting a cat. It could be applying to colleges, taking the bar exam, buying a home. It could also be losing a home, getting beaten up for being gay, or, well, dying. Or giving birth.

I love reading these things (edit: not the sad things of course, but I still want to read them), and I hate missing them. Not all of them make the rec list, and I'm sure many people don't bother to write diaries about their big live changes. But they might post a comment if there were a regular feature on the subject. I don't know if this would work best as a front-page feature or as a group-edited diary. Tell the poll whether you think it's a good idea or not, and if you can think of a name for the feature, post it in the comments.

I know, this isn't much of a diary. It's a simple concept. But a potentially significant one.
