As you have undoubtedly heard, in public "pro-lifers" purport to condemn the savage attacks, murders and death threats sent and carried out by their movement. I'm sure that you have always suspected that they were insincere. And in this thread, I want to show you what these people say when they are not around people who might "snitch" on them. Pay particular attention to the fact that even people who nominally condemn this horrendous crime express glee at this fact.
How can that be, you might wonder? Would fundamentalist Christians, the most moral people imaginable (according to themselves and none other), actually support murder? Unfortunately, the answer isn't YES. It is abso-freakin'-lutely. But don't take my word for it. Stand back and see for yourself.
Thread #1: George Tiller shot to death at Wichita church
I do not support this, but I do understand this.
Kansas politics has been corrupted to the core by George Tiller, making him like a mobster above the law.
He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

It is tragic that Tiller did not repent and mend his ways before his death.
My mother used to baby sit this monster.
Then, much of Tiller's family died in an airplane wreck, and Tiller seemed to go on a temper tantrum against God.
Then, Tiller actually co-opted much of the liberal Churches, in the area, and he had become the largest contributor to the Democrats in the state of Kansas.
By the way, he also used the Ku Klux Klan act against me and other protesters during the "Summer of Mercy" -—
(That Act was specifically written to protect "Catholics, Negroes and Republicans" in the Reconstruction South. I fit 2 of the 3). The Wichita Eagle claimed that "Judge Kelly Upheld the Law" When the tyrant Judge Kelly died -—
This IN SPITE Of the fact that EVERY SINGLE ABORTION RULING IN JUDGE KELLY'S COURT WAS OVERTURNED BY THE DENVER 10th Circuit COURT OF APPEALS -—
(For Judicial Misconduct)
So, a Judge BREAKS the law, and that Judge is lionized and cast as a Martyr, by the local newspaper.
I expect the eulogies for this monster, who is every bit as evil as Hitler or Stalin, every bit as evil as BTK or any other serial killer, I expect it will be sickening!

You’re looking at this all wrong. The time for civility is quickly running out IMHO. In 10 years, we may wind up looking back at this moment as the first shot in the second American civil war.

If you TRULY believe that Abortion is murder, then you cannot condemn anyone who would do anything to stop this mass murderer from continuing in his crimes.
This is where the rubber meets the road.
If you call abortion murder, then this was justifiable homicide.
If abortion is not murder, then Tiller was the victim of a heinous crime and his killer should be condemned.

George Tiller thought his political connections to the White House would protect him. He learned far too late that Obama throws those closest to him under the bus first. The pro-abortion movement needed a fresh martyr, and George Tiller fit the bill.

This brings me to another thought. We need to use this event against them.
We need to start accusing Napolitano and Obama of a hidden conspiracy with the gunman of attempting to give pro-lifers a bad name by killing abortionist Tiller.
These people have no problem twisting reality to benefit their agenda, I don’t see why we shouldn’t do it to them.

Galatians 6:7-10:
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

I suppose if Hitler had been assassinated there would have been many "good" Germans who would have looked at the assassin as a "crazy". Let’s face it - this country has lost it’s soul. We live in a post-Judeo-Christian nation and it will only go down hill from here. There will certainly be many "good" Americans that lament the passing of this evil man. With a federal government, press and apostate "church" firmly entrenched in liberal secular theology we are witnessing the end of the founder’s America.

waggy, don’t be so quick to label Tiller’s killer a murderer. He/she hasn’t been caught yet. So we have no way of knowing whether it was a coldblooded contract killer, or a man or woman deranged by the sorrow of having his/her child killed by Tiller. Or any other variations.
"Murder" implies intent. Tiller was a murderer...he always had the intent of savagely ending a human life.
The person who did this may be guilty of manslaughter, or may be innocent by reason of insanity.
