Starbucks is now officially sponsoring MSNBC's Morning Joe show. http://www.mediabuyerplanner.com/...
If we object to biased reporting on MSM we need to boycott sponsors of these programs. I sent the following letter to Starbucks Coffee via Starbucks Customer Contact Form

Message: I was appalled to learn this morning that Starbucks Coffee is teaming up with the Morning Joe show. I find that show very offensive because of negative right-wing rhetoric and biased slant. Though I love Starbucks Coffee, I am going to boycott Starbucks because of this alliance. I am sure that other open-minded liberal patrons will do the same. I am sorry that Starbucks has chosen to sponsor such an offensive show. Sincerely
I received the following response today:
Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.
I want you to know that we appreciate hearing how you feel about our marketing relationship with MSNBC and the "Morning Joe" program.
Through this partnership, we're hoping to reach our customers in a meaningful fashion and highlight our exceptional coffee and values which have built our brand from the beginning. We are not sponsoring a specific political view or party, as a global company this is something that we refrain from doing.
I want you to know that I will share your thoughts with the marketing department here in our corporate office.
Thank you again for contacting us. If you have any further questions or concerns that I was unable to address, please feel free to let me know.
Warm regards,
Madeline A.

I filled out the survey and sent the following reply:
Dear Madeline A.
I appreciate your response to my message.
Many people I know are offended by the media bias shown so blatantly on the Morning Joe program. The right-wing rhetoric is disrespectful of our elected President and his policies. We elected this President because we are tired of what has happened in our Nation and we are ready for progressive change.
Many of us feel that we have no recourse to object other than boycotting sponsors of "infotainers" who try to undermine our elected leaders. Rational discourse is acceptable but propaganda and unbridled emotional ranting against our elected leader is not.
Eight years of right-wing rule and deregulation of consumer protections has brought our country to its knees financially and politically. It is time for our Nation to heal. Many of the mainstream media shows (such as Morning Joe) are going in the opposite direction to the will of the people.
While I love Starbucks Coffee, I will not patronize Starbucks as long as the Morning Joe/Starbucks alliance is in effect.
Thank you for your consideration.
Respectfully,
As many of us have discussed in other diaries, we can make our voices heard by contacting sponsors of offensive remarks on right-wing programs.
I write this diary to provide contact information for this prominent sponsor of the Morning Joe show.
