From the guys (and they are all guys) who brought you Prop 8, the latest Christlike gesture of goodwill towards the gay community. This article says it all.
Several security guards confronted a gay couple after a kiss on the cheek and tried to expel them from Main Street Plaza in Salt Lake City. This section of Main Street used to be a public easement owned by the city, but the Mormon Church came into possession via a controversial land swap with the city. Since the property still is Main Street and a popular pedestrian thoroughfare, the Mormon Church agreed to only ban people for "offensive, indecent, obscene, lewd or disorderly speech, dress or conduct." If you've ever been at this place you know there's always plenty of Mormon heterosexual couples who come to gaze at the temple and give each other more than a kiss on the cheek. It was obviously only because this couple was gay that they were targeted.
