The biggest challenge is what do we do now that BushCO has been foisted on us again. Where is our action list? What our goals. Can we even agree on what the proper course of resistance is? In the spirit of being constructive for the New Year here are my suggestions
obilize and demonstrate. Take to the streets and start taking over the universities with sits ins and teach ins. Write, email, phone in Tsunami volumes to Senator's, Congressman, the President Office, oppose everything he proposes. Appoint leadership to the DNC that is disitinic different that can make a compelling case why Republicanism in its present form is desperately wrong. Filibuster, block the nominations, and block the appropriations. Form a "moderate collation" to create and pass "reasonable legislation". Seduce and cajole "moderate republican" senators to flip sides (dangle carrots if necessary seniority/ chairmanships). Take back the media. Continually show our opposition; get in Bush's face (he doesn't work well under fire). Have a shadow presidency, if it has to be Clinton so be it. Agitate for non-partisan election supervision and redistricting. All elections must have audible results and paper trails.
