Re the Cheney "Scandal":
You think it’s appropriate for Joe Biden to make decisions about what the CIA should or should not brief Congress on? Or do you deny (and if so, based on what) that the vice-president’s office played a role in that decision?
His response:
Uh, sure, if the PROGRAM DOESN'T EXIST and is merely a plan Congress has already been briefed on and Obama has designated Biden as the point man on these issues.
I'm not sure I understand your obvious attempt at a gotchya here.
Got that? The program doesn't exist, but is merely a plan. Which congress has been briefed on. So the Vice President's office ordered the CIA not to tell congress about something that didn't exist that they'd already been told about!
I'm glad we cleared that up.
