When I was 12, my parents signed me up for an adventure camp. It was a week long and everyday was a different 'adventure' activity. One day we went rock climbing, the next day we went white water rafting, etc.
We never spent a day, however, learning how to capture Israeli soldiers. Unfortunately, 120,000 Palestinian children living in Gaza can't say the same:
Children in Hamas summer camps reenacted the abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Schalit in the presence of top Hamas officials, according to pictures obtained by The Jerusalem Post.
I guess you have to feel bad for the children forced to play the parts of Israeli soldiers. It's got to sting having to wear the evil Zionist's flag on your costume:
There are other camps run by the United Nations the children can attend, but they are discouraged by the Hamas thugs running the place:
Last week, senior Hamas official Dr. Younes al-Istal told Al-Arabiya TV the UNRWA summer camps were part of a plan to corrupt the younger generation and prepare it for normalization with Israel.
Even if that was true, it bottles the mind how "corrupting" to normalize relations with Israel is worse than the sort of brainwashing to Jew-hate Hamas is teaching six figures of impressionable children.
Well, anyways, the camp reminds me of what I saw in Jesus Camp, only for radical Islam instead of psycho Christianity:
In addition to religious studies, the children undergo semi-military training with toy guns.
US Middle East Envoy George Mitchell says that President Obama's peace plan will bring normalization between Israel and the Arab world, but how will Gaza ever be a part of it when the youth is being brainwashed to hate?
