The Earth is so beautiful, I cannot comprehend why anyone would want to leave it for the moon, Mars or any other planet. The Earth is so beautiful I cannot comprehend why humans have filled it with violence and oppression and sorrows. The Earth is so beautiful that I cannot comprehend why humans would destroy it so thoroughly.
The dolphins love to steal fish from the fishermen. While on the Gulf Pier a dolphin happened to steal a fish from a fisherman and he said:
"3 for him. 6 for me. If I had a gun I'd shoot that dolphin!"
Which is a perfect illustration of the violence which characterizes our species and also why humans cannot live at peace with anything or anyone, especially not each other.
How many trillions of dollars did our government waste on the Military-Industrial complex during the last 50 years?
How many Americans died during that time period because they couldn't get health care and our government simply didn't care about their health or survival?
How many trillions of dollars did Americans waste in the last 50 years on hyperconsumerism?
How many billions of humans died throughout the world during that period because they lacked the basic necessities of life and no one cared?
Contrary to the myth of progress, the 20th century exhbited humans behaving in the worst possible manner, destroying the planet, fighting global wars, threatening Mutually Assurred Destruction, accumulating nuclear stockpiled sufficient to destroy the planet a thousand times over, provoking the Sixth Great Extinction, loading the planet with sufficient toxins to generate radical climate change and kill the world's coral reefs, and destroy the world so thoroughly so as to eradicate civilization and drive the Homo sapiens to extinction.
Needless to say, I'm not at all impressed by humankind.
Humans are fools. All the time. Everywhere.
We've destroyed our only home. Humankind's future is horrific, more horrific even than St. John's Apocalypse.
Load a planet with 9,000,000,000 people and exhaust all of the planet's resources ... guess what happens?
I'll tell you: Something really, really bad happens.
If you live long enough, you'll witness it with your own eyes.
So don't believe all the lies regarding the recoverying economy. The government is lying to you because it desperately needs the American consumers to engage in hyperconsumerism during the holiday season.
The economy demands it but humankind's survival demands that the economy die.
Stop shopping. Now.
