Nothing quite makes your blood boil like letting a poor girl die while her father, mother and others,"pray" for her healing, instead of actually providing a doctor that could easily cure her. Well, like her mother, her father was just found guilty of "second degree reckless homicide."

WAUSAU, Wis. -- A central Wisconsin man accused of killing his 11-year-old daughter by praying instead of seeking medical care was found guilty Saturday of second-degree reckless homicide.

I believe that people have the right to practice their religion, whether it involves goat sacrifices or taking peyote, whose right was denied. However, I cannot stand the fact that people can deny medicine, as with pharmacists, or care because of their religion.
I don't think people should be allowed to let their children die, or deny birth control because they don't believe in it. If Mr Neumann or his wife want to let themselves die without treatment, go right ahead, but that right stops when it involves a minor. Others have been found not guilty of this, but I hope this withstands the appeals...
If you do not want to provide birth control to people when you are working in a pharmacy, you are in the wrong line of work.
I hope I don't sound too cold, but I hope Mr. Neumann and his wife find a lot of time to pray IN PRISON...
