Glorious sunrise, glorious birds ...

The sunrise is always a no-lose proposition. Safety Harbor is likewise a no-loe proposition. Water, wildlife and a living Universe ... my kind of place. Once you have gained possession of the Universe there isn't any desire to possess anything else.
I read something sad in the newspaper today ...
On her sprawling Italian farm years ago, E.... O.... regularly killed small animals and reptiles.
There is no such thing as humankind without violence. The distinction between violence against Nature and violence against each other is very slim indeed.
Can you imagine a world without human violence?
I can. Too bad such a world can only exist after humans have gone extinct.
Violence is human nature. As such there is no cure for human violence.
Instead of killing the animals and living at war with Nature, I encourage you to love the animals and live at peace with Nature. Instead of fearing other humans and living at war with enemies on the other side of the world, I encourage you to live at peace with all humans and dismantle the military and also the military-industrial complex.
Americans own millions of guns because they are fearful of the human violence. I propose eradicating all of the guns and teaching humans to live at peace with each other.
Are these ideals unattainable? Yes, of course. Humans are violent because humans love violence. Humans own guns because humans love violence. Countries have militaries because humans love violence. There are thousands of nuclear weapons because humans love violence.
Violence is human nature. Peacefulness is not.
This world is filled with violence, sorrow, warfare, ecological destruction, pollution and toxins. Humans have made a mess of the entire planet and we're not stopping until Nature stops humankind.
It is such a tragedy that I really could spend all my time crying about humankind's past, present and future. Fortunately the Universe is filled with beauty and the Earth filled with life so I need not think about the human tragedy except when it is absolutely necessary.
The more time you spend with Nature the less impressive and more tragic humankind appears. If humankind was actually intelligent and possessed free will our species undoubtedly would live differently.
