There's a phrase I've heard: "Republicans are shameless and Democrats are spineless." I mean, the Dems are their own worst enemy sometimes.
But, I understand that perception - because Democrats are thought-filled people who want to double-check everything. Meanwhile, the current majority of Republicans in Congress are sheep, lemmings, bots, etc. They just follow the lead of imbeciles like Beck, Palin and Limbaugh.
For instance, where are the likes of Johnny Isakson (R-GA) who is a staunch supporter of end-of-life counseling to say, "Hey, grow up, you 'death-panel' repeating morons!"??
So, unless & until someone in that party claims ownership of said party and declares it's been hijacked by a bunch of under-educated, over-paid, radio/TV/beauty-pagent personalities and their flock of sheep, we should, more and more, use the term Republican't.
