Today merited four folders:
Dawn - darkness, the stars and dawn at Ft. DeSoto
Glorious Sunrise - sun rose with its glory and filled the sky with color and light
Feeding Frenzy & Triathlon - birds by the hundreds feasting on fish, triathlon
Dolphins - dolphins, birds, rainbow, magnificent frigatebird
I seek to portray the world as an overwhelmingly beautiful place. The living world is so very beautiful that humans ought to devote all of their attention to appreciating life on such a special and absolutely unique planet.
In order to really appreciate Nature, though, humans must attain peace. What do I mean by "peace"? I mean the cessation of all (absolutely all) violence, destructiveness, and violent entertainment.
Is this not at all possible for humankind to attain? Yes, of course.
But if it is impossible for humankind to attain peace at least it is possible for me to live at peace. I cannot worry so much about humankind's flaws and fate. Humankind is a lost cause and there is only such much time left for crying about the tragedy which is humankind.
There's not a lot of time left. The human era is nearing its end.
Nature is four billion years old and it will survive, recover and restore the Earth to a pristine state, evolve and flourish. Within Nature's time scale the human era rounds down to zero. Although humans are especially impressed by humankind in the great scheme of things humankind doesn't amount to much ... humankind doesn't amount to anything at all.
Nature is everything. Nature owns the Earth and humankind. Nature will do whatever it wishes.
The real tragedy : Humankind could have lived differently.
