GLENN BECK SHOW - SPONSORS LIST - Wed Aug 26 Show

Below the fold is the list of sponsors still running advertisements on The Glenn Beck Show (TGBS).  This list is compiled from yesterday's show.

Also, included below the fold is a rather shocking clip from Beck's Aug 6 show which these sponsors are implicitly endorsing. In the clip, Glenn Beck laughingly suggests that someone should poison Speaker of the House Rep. Pelosi. Why are these sponsors supporting this nut job?

The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle; the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true! Right?

Here's a recent example of the kinds vile things that The Glenn Beck Show presents almost every day

I think this clip is the best example of why no responsible sponsor can morally or ethically continue to support TGBS.

Please contact TGBS sponsors and ask them the question, "Regardless of one's politics, what kind of sponsor endorses a show which urges its viewers to poison someone?"

Note: In many cases, the contracts the sponsors sign are Run Of Show (ROS) contracts. What that means is that they're buing non-specific blocks of air-time and Fox News Channel drops the ads into any open slot. So the sponsor may not even realize their spots are appearing during TGBS (nor even that they're appearing on FNC).

If a sponsor says that they don't endorse what Beck says, but that they've got a ROS contract, then as politely as possible, let them know that they just need to explicitly instruct FNC or their ad agency to modify their contract to specify "no Glenn Beck".

As far as I know, FNC and/or News Corp is still honoring such requests to modify ROS contracts and will immediately shift the ad to some other program.

I'm just guessing that the PSA's are all unpaid. If anyone contacts those organizations and finds out they're paying for those spots please let me know and ask the organization to modify their ad contract to specify "No Glenn Beck".
