Glenn Beck has been milking his faux populism for ratings gold, but he's walled off his $4.2 million estate behind a 6-foot barrier to keep the poors out. And we hear his neighbors aren't happy.
Beck applied for a permit to build a six-foot wall around his New Canaan, Conn., home (pictured above and below) last year, citing security concerns and claiming that he had been "besieged by angry audiences." Most homes in New Canaan are limited to four-foot fences.
But illegal Mexicans and faceless Illuminati assassins can easily hop four-foot barriers, so Beck asked the town for permission last year to completely encircle his home in a 6-foot wall, and he actually brought a security guard with him to the town meeting where his application was being considered because they are everywhere. Beck had begun construction of the wall prior to receiving permission from the town, a big no-no.

I am hesitant to spill pixels on Mr. Attention Ghetto, but when I heard (as much as I could stand) his spiel on Nancy Pelosi's fundraiser on her "multi-million dollar" property, I had to to check on his comparative abode, most likely a mud & thatch dwelling.
Yep, it's only $4.2 mil.
That he wanted to build a 6-foot wall around? (Walls are the 21st century's medieval solution to problems, whether in Baghdad, Gaza or Connecticut)
And started to do so without legally permitted construction?
So he had to bring a security guard with him to a town meeting?
Besieged by angry audiences?
His wiki provided some interesting info:
Beck was born in Mount Vernon, Washington in February 1964, and raised a Roman Catholic. His early life was pitted with tragedies; his mother and one of his brothers committed suicide, and a sibling had a fatal heart attack.[2] He graduated from Sehome High School in Bellingham, Washington in 1982. Several years later, he took a single theology class at Yale University.[3]
A 2007 profile in "LDS Living" magazine provides a comprehensive history of Beck's early life and career in radio, and states that his first significant exposure to LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) came at age 18 when, after graduating high school, he moved from Washington to Salt Lake City, Utah and shared an apartment with a returned Mormon missionary. The article goes on to say that his first marriage ended in divorce at age 30 (1994), after which he enrolled in Yale for a single semester. He and his second wife, Tania, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in October 1999, partly at the urging of his eldest daughter, Mary, who has cerebral palsy.[4]
A 2009 profile in GQ states that Beck was admitted to a special program for non-traditional students at Yale University at some unspecified point in time while he was working for a New Haven-area radio station. Senator Joe Lieberman wrote one of Beck's recommendation letters. Beck dropped out around the time of his divorce. When Beck left Yale, an unnamed professor told him "Glenn, you belong here."[3]
Beck is a self-described recovering alcoholic and addict. He and his first wife divorced amid his struggle with substance abuse. Beck cites the help of Alcoholics Anonymous in his sobriety, and he eventually converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,[5] which teaches against the consumption of alcohol.
Beck has spoken often of his religious beliefs and conversion. "God stalked me!...He had a giant baptismal rifle," Beck said. "I thwarted him. I led people astray as much as I could, but he kept putting Mormons in my way."
God stalked him with a giant baptismal rifle! Glenn was able to thwart God, but clever old God threw Mormons in his way!
