I have long been a strong Barack Obama supporter. So was my daughter. At 29 months she was proudly proclaiming Obama's victory.
Then last Sunday, she surprised me with scathing criticism of President Obama. Take a look at this disturbing footage.
She seemed most concerned about President Obama's economic plan, but seemed more confident in healthcare.
The question was, how would she react to President Obama's speech last night? For me, I thought it was his best speech as president, a game-changer which brought home the need for healthcare reform in clear, concise, compelling and moral terms. Her reaction below the fold
As you can see, she had some problems with the speech, as some others who strongly support single payer do. But she seemed hopeful for the eventual success of the plan, which is really important. DI don't quite understand her worms and ice cream reference. Perhaps a fellow Kossack can define it. Your comments are welcome.
