This is just a quick link, to an very interesting article in Minnpost. A veteran reporter, observed her during the entire address. His observations, might make you think she feels differently about our current Commander in Chief.
I will write longer entries, but this one is brief and to the point, because I'm very busy.
Still, I felt all of you should take a look at this article by veteran reporter Albert Eisele, a former Washington correspondent for the Duluth News-Tribune and St. Paul Dispatch and Pioneer Press, and is editor-at-large and founding editor of The Hill, a newspaper that covers Congress.
In fact, Bachmann could barely bring herself to acknowledge Obama's presence. Demonstrating what must be the weakest effort at applause ever, she slowly brought her hands together when Obama arrived. But that was even more effort than she could muster during most of the 44 times — I counted them — when Obama's speech was greeted by applause.
On a number of those times, when Obama received standing ovations even from Republicans, she was the only member who remained sitting. And on many occasions, when her colleagues applauded Obama, she feebly patty-caked the back of one hand with another instead of bringing her palms together.

Thanks, David Brauer for linking me to this, and thanks to Minnpost, which is a growing news source in the Twin Cities you may want to bookmark, as the Strib declines.
I was recently at Rep Michele Bachmann's Health Care Forum, and I'm trying to follow what she does here very closely.
I admit, I've been to her office as a member of MoveOn.org Minneapolis, but that's another diary. I hope, to go back in a few weeks too. You may question that here, but I haven't given up on her constituents, and we here in Minneapolis, think it's important to treat her with respect for this reason. And while I do respect her, I also follow what she says and does everyday, and from time to time, I will share that with you.
Craig
Update, I'll add this :
Many here in Minnesota, argue that MSM news sources often totally ignore what she says and does.
Locally, she often appears on Christian or Conservative radio. This, is where she makes her most extreme comments. For the most part, MSM--The Strib--doesn't even mention these comments.
I noted this at her Health Care Forum, there was no mention of "praying and fasting against Health Care Reform" or "slitting our wrists...", I was actually rather impressed how she pulled off this event. I videoed it, for YouTube, and was only 50 feet from her.
BTW, in going to meetings at her office with staffer Julie Quist, we at MoveOn decided that only those that felt they could be civil, should go. We have a policy of no sarcasm, or insulting language, and no shout-outs at public meetings. This seems to be a less popular strategy these days...
But one thing we have decided to do, is follow what she does and says very closely, and disseminate it.
