Tapping into Middle-Class Frustrations
We Can't Allow the GOP to Capitalize on Middle-Class Frustrations...
Just 8 months ago, the GOP was the Party of “Trickle Down Economics”, Tax Cuts for the Wealthy, Unpaid For Wars, The Katrina Malfunction, The Complete Meltdown of the Financial System, Not to mention utter Incompetence. So, what the heck is wrong?
The Party that was Yes to Bush, is all the sudden "The Party of NO."
We're allowng the ones that we're in charge of the mess to Fire working people up about this new President and the size of government... Well that needs to End and I think the President is finding his inner "Populist"
We need to seize the moment and Capture Some of that Middle-Class Populist Anger.
If you remember, not too long ago, most of that Anger was Aimed at the "Banks", "Bailouts" & "Bonus’s"
This Is Our Chance to “Tap” into some of that "Populist Frustration" by pushing for Financial Regulations NOW… it will Force the GOP to show their true colors as supporters and protector’s of Big Business practices…
On Clean Energy and Security… (this maybe harsh, but)
Using the example of the recent Uproar over the RELEASE of the Libyan terrorist that was responsible for the Pan Am bombing that killed Americans because of a “Possibly UK Oil Deal” whether thats true of not it Makes a Serious Point about the need to “Wean” ourselves off Foreign Oil”
I'm sorry, but I just think we need to make sharper points that get people's attention
Clean Energy is Security, Clean Energy is Jobs, and Clean Energy is Vital to the Health of our Planet.
'
That brings me to the Health Care Reform Battle…
President Obama was in “Populist-in-Chief” mode today and that’s exactly where he needs to be…
He made a Strong Point when addressing the Middle-Class that
"Wages Won't Go Up" Until "Health Care Costs Go Down"
My point... Democrats have a Strong Populist Message, if we can Harness some of the anger & frustration that’s out there, we can gain more support moving forward from people that aren’t “Nuts’ But We Have to get Better at Speaking Their Language! The Republicans have always been good at it!
Here is The Presidents Fiery Speech at GM Today, it was Very Populist!
“President Obama Says "He's Still Got A "Ton of Fight" left in me,"
