Amendment XXVIII
The terms "person", "people", or "persons" in this Constitution, and all those rights reserved to them, shall refer only to natural persons, not to corporations or other artificial legal entities.
It's time for the the most crucial amendment we could make to our constitution since the abolition of slavery. A similar kind of change, which rights a grievous wrong we've been living with for over 120 years.
And it will change our country, and our world, for the better:
End corporate personhood. With one, short amendment.
That will get us health care reform.
That will get us environmental reform.
That will get us electoral reform.
That will get us labor rights, and social justice.
We will have our country back only by reversing the massive overinflation of power that corporations have been able to accrue ever since the flawed "Santa Clara County vs. Southern Pacific" precedent.
