This is the second diary for comments about the discussions in the Senate Finance Committee on the Baucus Health Care Mark.
The Committee has been discussing how to discuss the bill this morning and an amendment by Sen. Bunning on whether or not to post the bill in legislative as opposed to "conceptual" or plain english. (Yes, honest, this took all morning.)
See the Mothership diary for a more detailed discussion of what is going on today.
The vote on the Bunning Amendment went down 11-12. The Baucus amendment that said 2 versions of the bill, one written in legislative language and one in plain english would be on the finance committee web site was approved, 13-10.
So, the important question of whether or not to talk about health care in plain english in committee is now over.
