Sarah Palin meets Kathleen the Teacher
Billy Sullivan caught much of the interchange on his cell phone camera. The back of her security guard's head and Todd Palin attempted to block Billy's view, continually rotating like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. What were they afraid of? I guess that's what happens when you're filming a "celebrity". He was even told by one of the Palin daughters, "You're an A-hole". Charming family values.

Now, I know a lot of you are sick and tired of hearing about the Palin trainwreck, so I gave fair warning.
Honestly, I'm sick and tired of her and her tabloid family also, too, but this is very worth reading about IMHO, plus it's hilarious.
It would appear that, as we thought, Sarah hasn't got a flipping clue about the American Constitution.
As a Brit, I'm almost clueless myself about it, but then again I didn't run for high office in the US.
I am almost certain that Palin and her merry band have just trampled a couple of amendments into the ground. Maybe you could confirm this for me in the comments, if I get any.

What I found interesting about this video is Sarah's reaction to Kathleen being a teacher.
Palin: What do you do here?
Kathleen: I’m a teacher
Palin: Oh. (Eye roll and protracted grimace)
Palin Daughter: Oh.
Conservatives hate teachers. They say no, they just hate the teachers' unions. No, I say, they hate teachers.
They say that they hate public education because it wastes tax dollars and does not work. They are wrong on both counts.
For House conservatives to continue to oppose funds that would save teacher jobs, after the issue of deficit spending is taken off the table, reveals the actual reason behind the opposition -- conservatives want teachers to get fired.
Maybe they think small class sizes aren't worth the money. Maybe they think there are so many bad teachers that a couple hundred thousand are expendable.
I don't know why exactly conservatives want so many teachers to get fired. But there's no getting around the fact that they do.
Perhaps then, we should be having and open and honest debate, whether we want hundreds of thousands of teachers to get fired.
If conservatives really think that's the right policy, I'm sure they would be happy defending their position.

They do not use the same arguments against funding police officers and firefighters which are just as important to our society and cost just as much.
Why?
Because teachers enlighten with rationality and reality and like Stephen Colbert once said, "Reality has a well-known liberal bias."
