Dean's campaign is imploding.
This is not the time for denial and phony optimism.
It's time to get angry.
This is not a campaign against republicans. This is a campaign against the entrenched power of special interest.
I'm reluctant to say "special interest" because that implies an external force with too much influence. And that's what it was.
But now "special interest" is internal. The corrupting forces have fully merged with our "elected" officials so there's no difference anymore.
Your senator or representative is the special interest.
It doesn't make ANY DIFFERENCE AT ALL if their Democrats or Republicans.
This movement is 100% against corrupt, unacountable, entrenched power.
This includes John Kerry and the DLC.
Big Money took out Dean in Iowa and New Hampshire. They were Democrats.
They don't give a damn about the grass roots or people power or any of it.
They saw a threat to power.
It's time to get angry again.
Remember the "angry democrat"? This was a ploy to inocculate you. To write you off without having to confront what you're angry about. Notice how that dissapeared after Iowa?
When Howard Dean first said, "I want my country back", he wasn't just talking about Bush. He was talking about the lazy, fat, corrupt, bought and paid for DEMOCRATS too.
And now they think they've chosen our next leader.
This movement is bigger than Dean.
If the anger doesn't spread this election, then we need to pace ourselves to 2008.
I, personally, don't think 2008 will really be soon enough, but if you guys are gonna do it you're going to have to get riled.
Drop this sensless optimism. "yeehaw, we came in third again today".
This is war.
