Just watched the Olbermann - O'Donnell segment on Kos TV and it reminded me of 2008.
First, I thought the commentary by O'Donnell was a very calm and sober assessment of what he thought was happening in the MA. race. OD knows the state well and did a good job of giving the current state of mind in the state and what Coakley is up against.
That being said, I felt like the two of them were acting exactly like right-wing commentary during the 2008 presidential campaign in that they completely avoided saying anything about their candidate. The issues and the discussion were all about Brown and that's not a good sign for Coakley.
I think Democrats quickly need to focus on their candidate and get her name out there as much as they can in order for her to win. I also think that when President Obama goes up this weekend, Democrats need to avoid the mistake made in Jersey and not cater solely to urban African-American areas like he did in Newark and Camden in his trip to help Corzine on the last weekend before his re-election campaign.
That's it, the comments are up to you.
