It's just a turnout report because about 2/3 of the folks who lined up couldn't fit in and my friends and I weren't lucky.
The line to get into the rally started overnight and by 12:30 or so was blocks long when we got there, looping down past the YMCA and Jordan Hall and round the back. So we lined up and waited. The line kind moved a bit as time went on. We looped a bit but never got out of the block. Everyone who showed up at our end of the line was pretty sure they wouldn't get in but stayed in line and considered being there important in itself as a show of support. At 2PM they announced that the venue and it's overflow were filled.
The media never saw our part of the line. Congressman Tierney walked by, prsumably to get to the site.
The teabaggers were there. A couple of Brown supporters wandered by. They're such lost deluded souls.
