I learned today that my co-worker thinks I'm gay.
Hmm. Just because I advocate for equal rights for homosexuals, like Broadway shows, and happen to be single and in my 30s, seems, in a Republican mind, to mean that I am gay.
Said co-worker is an ultra-conservative.
How should I approach this?
I don't want to argue I am not gay, because him thinking he has a gay co-worker (and friend as well) may actually broaden his horizons.
But, I do not want to intentionally make him think I am gay for the political impact.
What should I do?
