Remember the streaker who tried to win a million dollars at a recent event where President Obama was speaking? Turns out there is a lot more to that
story, and I thought you might like to know . . .
This article I found on Drudge, of all places, tells how the streaker, a Mr.Juan Rodriguez is getting only a part of the one million dollars he so daringly went after.

ABC news almost blithely notes that, "The New York man who ran naked through an Obama rally last weekend in hopes of nabbing a $1 million reward from a billionaire Internet mogul, will have a year's worth of rent and his sister's hospital bills paid for, after reportedly admitting he didn't get close enough to the president to earn the jackpot."
Rent, sure. Your poor sister's hospital bills, yeah, so what?
Well, the so what is that is still normal in America. You want your sister to live, and not be burdened with debt for the rest of her life? Find a billionaire who wants to promote his latest online venture, wait for a million dollar first prize for completely humiliating yourself, and go for it. Can you imagine how foreign and frightfully bizarre this must seem to the rest of the civilized world? This kind of bathos turned to pathos will end when the Health Care bill is fully at work.
This poor man and his story is all the reason I need to vote in this election. We let the Republicans march in and dismantle by unfunding health care and four years from now, if you want health care and a chance at a decent life, you will have to take off your clothes and run close enough to Sarah Palin that you can win the money you need. Other than that, you are on your own. We can still complain and kibitz over the details, and hope for the better to come, but this election will decide whether health care reform will actually take place. This election. Not the next, and not the one before. Remember that on November 2nd.
