Polls are closed for the 2010 Brazilian General Elections. As results come in for the presidential election, they will be added to the chart below.
Three opinion polls this weekend gave Dilma Rousseff between 50% and 53% of the vote, down from her high of 60% three weeks ago. This downward trend, the margin of error, and undecideds breaking against the incumbent party, mean the chances of the election finishing in the first round are in doubt. If needed, the run-off will be held on October 31.
| Party | Pct. |
Dilma Rousseff | PT | 46.8% |
José Serra | PSDB | 32.7% |
Marina Silva | PV | 19.4% |
Precincts reporting: 99.5% |
Turnout: 81.9% |
Total Votes: 110.669.082 |
Complete live results for all races can be found at this link.
UPDATE: Exit polling showed 51% Dilma, 30% Serra, 18% Marina.
UPDATE: Looks like the exit polls were off. A run-off will be required.
