Oh brother.
Rep. Heath Shuler (D-N.C.), who threatened to challenge Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for minority leader after the Nov. 2 election, might launch his leadership bid on two high-profile cable news shows in the coming days.
Shuler is scheduled to address his leadership plans during appearances on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday and MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program on Monday.
What, Bill O'Reilly wasn't available? He couldn't get Glen Beck's booker on the phone?
Nothing screams "successful leadership bid" than announcing your efforts to lead Democrats on the show of an unreconstructed Gingrich Class of 1994 Republican, and one with the shittiest cable news morning show ratings, to boot.
Still, no one ever accused Shuler of being smart. In fact, he's pretty much the dumbest Democrat in the caucus.
Too many hits to the head.
