Okay, this doesn't have much to do with politics, but it does involve human decency. I don't know about anyone else, but I am a little sick of hearing about how Michael Vick deserves a second chance, and that we should all forgive him for torturing and killing countless dogs. Especially since he's playing such good football!
Now, don't get me wrong, I know he's paid his debt and all that crap, and since he is out of jail, he should be allowed to live as a free man would; however, that doesn't mean he should automatically be playing for the NFL right away. But since he is, again, that's fine. It says more about any team that would hire this creep than anything (in this case, I'm just so proud to say the Eagles are my home team).
But just because he is getting his beloved second chance, that doesn't mean we all have to love and forgive him. He has the right to play football if someone wants to use him, but I also have the right to hate him. He's an ass, let's face it. He never really apologized for what he did - sure, he said he should never have been in that position, but not once did I hear him admit what he did was despicable.
Anyway, apparently, sports fans think this is just great, and he is a hero. I'm hoping that the Daily Kos crowd won't let me down, and maybe we can make this poll a little more reasonable:

Okay, sorry for my rambling - I hope the Daily Kos people don't actually love Vick, and I just sabotaged the poll against myself!
