The suicide attack is already off the front pages of news websites. All you can find now is blog reports and polls asking if it was a terrorist attack.
How the f*** was that NOT a terrorist attack? Why is there such a RIDICULOUS double standard when it comes to attacks in this country?
I know that everybody already knows it. If the dude was brown, or Muslim, or was named Mohammad something, it would be 10 days of "TERROR HITS HOME!" Even the failed Christmas bomber got weeks of media attention.
Yet this guy straight up flies a plane successfully into a government building and the media narrative is.... nothing. It's "does anyone think that was terror? I just don't know."
I don't think it should negatively affect the President, not even the DHS or anyone else can be prepared to find everyone in this country who could go out on their own and fly on their own, that's not even a blip on anyone's radar.
But to not call this an act of terrorism is a ridiculous double standard. Not calling this an act of terrorism emboldens all of the other "proud right wing terrorists" who are thinking of their own course of action, because the country will not call them out for it.
If that doesn't change, it is going to get MUCH worse.
