Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother have been recruited by wingnut religious organization Focus on the Family to produce an anti-choice commercial to air on CBS during the Super Bowl.
Evidently, Pam Tebow's decision (helped by a no-exceptions ban on abortion in the Phillipines, where she was when pregnant with Tim) should apply to all people, everywhere, without exception. It's the Christian way!
But those of us who want our football sullied only by fart and dick jokes used to sell beer and chips have another weapon: The Money Bomb.
Yep, the Money Bomb - financial jiu-jitsu against wingnuts.
You want to bring wingnuttery out in the open? Fine. But just like others have done when wingnuts like Fred Phelps and his Westboro 'Baptist' 'Church' have spewed all over the place, we can make money for our side while Focusing on the Lives of Others spends millions on the most expensive ad time on television.
For each second the ad is shown, give money to Planned Parenthood. 30 seconds? $30. Or 50 cents a second - $15. Or anything, for that matter. EDIT: You can donate to the Action Fund (501)(c)(4), not tax-deductible, or to the general Planned Parenthood fund. (There are also donation sites for many local PP chapters.)
Oh, and Geaux Saints. They deserve it after Katrina and 43 years of futility.
