I don't ever watch CNN. But listening to Eugene Robinson stammering for a point on Morning Joe forced me over to the republican slanted network for a few minutes. (Mind you, I think Eugene is a literary genius, but he just can't sew a sentence together on live TV without stumbling for a full 15 seconds first.) While I was there, I heard a report about a new, so-called "Teapartier Convention" that occurred recently on the high seas. And they loved their little Bag Voyage so much, its coordinator, Alan Keyes will be doing it again.
It's called Cruise for Liberty. Currently there's talk of organizing a cruise with none other than Alaska's own giggle girl, Sarah Palin spreading her coochie coochie message of fear and ignorance.
On this past cruise, according to the CNN report I just viewed, passengers gathered for a little pre-cruise pep talk where they heard speeches, exchanged phone numbers, and heard statements like:
With Barack Obama, you are not that far from returning to slavery ... I'm telling you right now.
Unidentified Teabagger Speaker behind podium
...and...
You see, how can you impeach a president who was never the president in the first place? Consitutionally, he can not be president because (reporter: Oh come on) I'm telling you YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND Constitutional Government!
Alan Keyes to CNN Reporter
So this "Grassroots" movement of alleged regular Middle Class Folks just struggling to get by, victim of the Great GW Bush Recession, those every day joes worried about jobs and putting food on their plates, ready for a change in Washington and fed up with business as usual ...
... not only have $500 per ticket to attend the 2010 Teapartier Conference with Guest Star Sarah Palin ... but have enough left over to pay the air fare, the stateroom fees, the tips, the money for hotels, dining, and excursions on Carnival Cruiseline's Carnival Liberty to hear teabagger messages, sip cocktails and soak up the warm Virgin Islands sun!
Must be nice. It's The Love Boat ... only ... Hate-ier!
