Within 48 hours, we could have a vote on health care reform, but we need to bring on these remaining Members of Congress onboard to vote YES so the health care reform bill can pass. Please help us in calling these Members to vote YES on health reform, and tell your friends to join youin calling them as well!
Imagine if on Sunday, the bill is brought up for a vote, and it fails because a few Members of Congress decided it'd be easier to vote no on health reform to save their political asses rather than to provide health care to millions of Americans and their families. I don't want that to happen, and neither do you.
The fate of the health care reform is in their hands. It's up to us to make sure they pass health care reform on Sunday!
This woman, Carol Dale, is like one of us. She's a mother, working hard at a job to make ends meet, and she's having a hard time providing access to health care for her children so she shows up at one of the free health clinics here in this country. This is her story, and it could be our story too as well if this bill fails.
Millions more Americans will go without insurance. Private insurance companies will deny their claims based on pre-existing conditions, and they wouldn't even lift a finger to cover children with pre-existing conditions without this bill. They'd just let children and families die, face medical bankruptcy, and end up at free medical health clinics.
That's what the murder-by-spreadsheet industry does. And they've bought off Members of Congress both in the House and in the Senate as well. It's amazing how money can influence votes, and persuade Members of Congress not to do the right thing by the American people.
I'm tired of the murder-by-spreadsheet industry. Are you tired of them as well? Then JOIN US in making sure these conservative holdouts vote YES on health reform on Sunday!
Will you please donate $5, $10, or $20 to help us whip Congress into doing the right thing on health care reform?
