Congressional Republicans rallied Tea Party activists to oppose the health-care legislation on the verge of being approved by Congress even as party leaders began to look beyond Sunday's vote to campaigning against the reform in the fall elections.
I can't wait to see how the No/Nothing Party plans to use the new health care legislation against the Dems in the fall. Gonna be tough telling a woman with breast cancer who can no longer be turned down for insurance because of a "preexisting condition" that this bill is a disaster. Gonna be tough telling someone who doesn't have to worry any longer about changing jobs and losing their health coverage that this bill is a socialist conspiracy. Gonna be tough telling parents with young adult children still at home that they will still be covered that this bill is a government takeover of their health care.
Gonna be tough to explain why it's the ruination of the country that people will no longer have to sit for hours in emergency rooms to get medical treatment because they are now insured and can choose the doctor of their own. Gonna be tough to tell some 30 million people that they have finally achieved equal access to medical care unless, of course, they give the Republicans a chance to repeal it.
Yup. Gonna be tough.
