The mass media today carried headlines about passing Healthcare reform and its implications on people in various health care situations. Despite efforts by Teabaggers to capture the spin and headlines, they were virtually ignored in every media outlet. Tea Party leaders were dazed and confused by this lack of news. "But. But. But. The Mass media has always reported every breath we took and every word we screamed,"
Yesterday, when it looked as if HCR would inevitably pass, word went out over the Tea Bagger network to come immediately to DC and surround the Capital Building in protest. Whether they did or not, no one seems to have found it worth reporting in the news. Although a few of the Republican leaders have been asked for their reaction to the passage of this long fought bill, it seems there is no spin cycle from the Tea Baggers that has made the headlines. Fox News is exempted from this report as it isn't actually a news channel.
When seeking to find out why the Tea Bagger protest didn't make the news, some said it was because most of them were already incapacitated from having played a drinking game during the Congressional debate with the phrase "flawed health care bill" in the game. Others say that the Tea Baggers showed up but no media outlets considered them news anymore.
When questioned about not leading today's news with Tea Bagger reports, the media explained that the game of who would win on HCR was over and that Tea Bags were yesterday's news
