I'm the New Media Director for the U.S. Senate campaign of Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.
Over the weekend Democratic voters in Ohio sent more than 74,000 emails to members of the Ohio Democratic Party Executive Committee, demanding that the state party remain neutral in the Ohio U.S. Senate primary. Yesterday, a great grassroots victory was won - Jennifer Brunner's party-insider primary opponent withdrew his request for a state party endorsement and the party pledged to remain neutral.
To celebrate this important victory, and to kick off our get-out-the-vote operations (early voting begins next Tuesday), the Jennifer Brunner campaign has set aside this Friday, March 26th for a "Victory For Courage" money bomb.

The May 4th primary election is quickly approaching, and early voting begins in just one week, on March 30th. Ohio has the opportunity to nominate a courageous, people-oriented Democratic candidate with the best record of fighting for everyday Ohioans.
As Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner withstood personal, partisan attacks against a fair and accessible election system, taking the case of the voters all the way to the United States Supreme Court and won. She received the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for her success in cleaning up Ohio's elections and protecting our votes.
We will be calling on supporters around Ohio and across the nation to help us launch our get-out-the-vote push by making online contributions and helping spread the word through their online networks that day. Volunteers will be reaching out across the Net in creative ways to engage progressives everywhere to work for more courage in the Senate.
Help build the momentum for Friday's one-day campaign event. Visit VictoryforCourage.com and make a pledge for $10 or $25. It's not how much but how many! Make a pledge and get the party started.
