I am noticing when I look at tea party videos/pics the partiers are often donning shades and ball caps. I wonder if this is because of weather or if it is being used as a means to hide thier identities
Maybe I reading too much into this, that's a possibility, but it seems to me that when I see the TP people who are enraged they are often hiding behind shades and ball caps.
Particularly the ones who are shouting the most outrageous slogans or carrying a hateful sign. They will be dressed up in costumes or wearing some sort of concealing eyewear or hat.
The KKK did this for various reasons, one of which to hide thier identities. I wonder if TP'ers don't want thier faces to be recognized on camera? I think they want plausable deniability. They are angry and they want to shout horrible things as part of a nameless faceless mob without being singled out.
Do they not want thier neighboors to know they are a part of this group? I can't really blame someone for not wanting to be seen at a Sarah Palin speech, I get that.
Again, I might be reading too much into this, but I think they are sublty attempting to hide thier identities. Not the leades per se, but perhaps a casual attender.
Something to consider. I had attached a bunch of pics illustrating my point (some current and some of KKK rallies) but they were not from approved websites or whatever. If you have any pics that illusrate this point or the prove otherwise feel free to put them up.
