My last diary was on the rise of hate groups across this country. I added a link to the Southern Poverty Law Center's website that has a map, showing you how many hate groups are in your state. The diary received little attention, but some were pleased that I posted it, because you just don't know how many of these people live nearby.
I feel that the people here at Daily kos NEED to know how many people hate you for being you, and who have grouped themselves together where you stay. I do not need to tell you that there are now militia's growing alongside the hate groups, as if it could get any worse.
Basically this diary's sole purpose is to inform you of how many hate groups are in your state.
The map can be found here. But to lessen the inconvience, here is a compiled list of the number of hate groups in your state:

I hope this diary is of any help, because everywhere you look these days, reports and news items abound about the right wing and their growing militias. THe KKK is re-emerging as a force again because of the anger being felt, whether justified or not, they are being exploited so that they can grow.
They can deny it all they want to, but they are connected to this through their rhetoric, their signs and the hate they haven't let go of since the Civil War and before that. This is the same mindset, the same people who opposed every piece of legislation that benefits others that aren't like they are.
Thank you for your time, and I hope I have been a service to this community.
Peace!
Update 1- Add yourself to the Standing Against Hate Map, showing you do not tolerate Hate in your state. Just something we as Kos members can do, so if you think there isn't anything to do, there's that.
Thank You!
