I didn't watch them during the time of GWB because from 9/11 on they were all pro-war and anti-Democrat. The reasoning at the time was the conservatives owned the government so they should get most of the face time. Now that the Democrats are in charge, however, we get President McCain nearly every week and the balance is still tilted to the right wing. No excuses anymore, but they do it anyway.
So what was the final nail in the coffin for me? As it is it was something small, but sometimes the last straw doesn't need to be big to break the camels back.
It seems Mr. Schieffer decided to comment on the tea baggers. He said the "Tea party activists aren't just a "bunch of yahoos who make a lot of noise" and are instead a "force to be reckoned with". Ok, whatever. The loudest Republicans who get an inordinate amount of time on the 24 hour news channels are a force to be reckoned with. That doesn't actually MEAN anything, but whatever.
What got me was this: "For Republicans, there is the danger that the Tea Party could break off and form its own party, creating a situation similar to the 1992 presidential election when Ross Perot siphoned off votes from George Bush, allowing Bill Clinton to win, Schieffer said."

W.T.F.???
It is well-documented everywhere outside the right wing media that Clinton was going to beat poppy Bush by a landslide (http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/04/02/dan_quayle_still_blaming_perot_for_clinton).
I was one of those who voted for Perot before he dropped out. If I had waited until election day I would have voted for Clinton. My motto was ABBB (anybody but Bush).
I heard one of the talk shows was going to fact-check the guests. Good luck with getting the Republicans to show up. And who is going to fact-check the host? I'll give that a try but am not hopeful.
Can we a Daily Kos Sunday morning talk show, please?
