As the many Meta Diaries have noted, Dailykos is dead.
But it should be noted that this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world; a world that our beloved Meteor Blades gave their life to protect and nourish. We did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate Dailykos' profound wisdom at these proceedings. Of the internet, I can only say this: of all the blogs I have encountered in my travels, Dailykos was the most... human.
Dailykos is not dead as long as we remember it.
My main complaint with this place: I love "cats" and "dogs" (as they are called in the 24th century), and I appreciate that people write reoccurring diaries about them, but I'd rather have reoccurring Star Trek diaries that featured stuff like this:
That's all I have to say about this meta. Except for this:
I suspect that at least 50% of trollish comments are due to something called "BUI": Blogging Under the Influence. Some DKos posters clearly need computer breathalizers.
