dioxin in my drinking water

so i just moved away from LA because it is so polluted and have just found out that the town where i moved to in the middle of the redwood forest has a motherfucking pulp mill that emits dioxin into the water. i went to look at water filters and found a reverse osmosis system that says it will filter out perchlorate but it doesn't say anything about dioxin. if anyone knows about this kind of thing can you tell me if this filter will work for me? if not, can you recommend a system, hopefully an affordable one? thanks in advance, i'll come back and check your comments later -- gotta get back to unpacking.
