You have stated that it is "Un-American" for President Barack Obama to use such words as "boot/heel to the throat" when speaking of holding BP accountable for the cost of cleaning up the oil spill.
Mr Paul, it is "Un-American" to suggest that any part of the Civil Rights Acts should and ought to be either repealed or simply ignored. It is "Un-American" to suggest that, in a country based on the premise that all are created equal, that there are some to whom that equality need not be applied.
The idea of the Civil Rights Acts were and remain the best hope we have of trying, though not always succeeding, in securing a level "playing field" for all people. It is sad and disturbing that we must have Civil Rights Acts to guarantee rights that are already guaranteed by the Constitution. But it is, indeed, more sad and more disturbing the reason we must have Civil Rights Acts is because people like you would deny others equal rights based on your narrow-minded view and sense of superiority.
You, sir, are the very definition of "Un-American" and make a mockery of the principles on which this country was founded and for which so many gave their lives. If you win you election, you will take the following oath:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
You will state that you will "support and defend the Constitution", not attack and attempt to dismantle those parts of the Constitution that you deem unnecessary.
