Interesting follow up to my story on Rep. Weiner calling for the White House and Joe Sestak to divulge the details on the job offer Sestak answered honesty, acknowledging that the White House offered him.
Apparently now, top Senate Democrat and key Obama ally Senator Dick Durbin wants answers regarding Sestaks accusations that the White House offered him a job to stay out of the primary.
Durbin stated,
"At some point, I think Congressman Sestak needs to make clear what happened," Durbin told reporters at the Capitol.

Durbin also noted the onus to do so is on Sestak because it was he who paraded the issue to the public and on multiple occasions. That said, since Rep. Sestak answered honestly, is an unwillingness to come forward, after being "forward" in the primary a transparency concern? Should Sestak stonewall? Dick Durbin doesnt think so.
SEE SESTAK GNATS FLY TO THE DIARY TO TRASH ME BELOW. APPARENTLY THEIR ETHICS CHANGE BASED UPON WHO IS INVOLVED. IF THIS WAS THE BUSHES THEYD BE BITCHING AND SCREAMING.... AND RIGHTFULLY SO.
