I betcha Louie Gohmert and Sarah Palin did not realize that their hysterical invocations of Hitler when bellyaching about President Obama's demands to BP have brought the Evil One back from the grave.
Hitler is back and he is foaming at the mouth with rage. It looks like Hitler's ghost is going to haunt Smokey Joe and his GOP for a very long time.

Rush Limbaugh must be circulating a memo from the latest hero among the Republican Party. All are in a frenzy over Thomas Sowell and an article he wrote about
an unconstitutional power grab.
Apparently President Obama's demand for $20 billion from BP in order to hold it accountable and responsible for the devastation in the Gulf is an act so evil it is comparable to Adolph Hitler.
When Adolf Hitler was building up the Nazi movement in the 1920s, leading up to his taking power in the 1930s, he deliberately sought to activate people who did not normally pay much attention to politics.
Such people were a valuable addition to his political base, since they were particularly susceptible to Hitler's rhetoric and had far less basis for questioning his assumptions or his conclusions.
"Useful idiots" was the term supposedly coined by V.I. Lenin to describe similarly unthinking supporters of his dictatorship in the Soviet Union.
Put differently, a democracy needs informed citizens if it is to thrive, or ultimately even survive.
In our times, American democracy is being dismantled, piece by piece, before our very eyes by the current administration in Washington, and few people seem to be concerned about it.
I suppose the "useful idiots" would be the majority of Americans that voted for President Obama. Well this notion is nuts b/c if there are any "useful idiots" in the U.S. it is the minions of demagogues Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Most of those "useful idiots" are Republicans, birthers, Birchers, teabaggers, militia groups and other right wing extremists.
But worst and even more deranged, the right's comparison of President Obama's demands on BP to those of the murderer of millions of innocent victims during World War II is beyond the pale of anything remotely rational.
This kind of logic and rhetoric, my friends, borders on the insane.
We will no doubt find this latest Republican Hitler analogy stunt on the Ed Show's Psycho Talk segment. The GOP should also receive the distinct honor of being awarded Keith Olbermann's Worst Person in the World Award.
The entire Party can join their colleague Rick Perry, a recent recipient of the Worst Person in the World award, in savoring the Republican's finest achievements.
