We're so prolific with generating diary series, communities and sub-communities that it looks like our DailyKos Diary Series FAQ page needs some updating. If you are a member of a series, community or sub-community or have a fav, please add in the comments so Meteor Blades can add to our Diary Series Page. From the FAQ page, the community has generally defined a series as a group or number of diaries on the same subject or hosted by the same community/sub-community that have been tagged by the members/originators as a serial that is posted on regular basis.
There is a list below of the information that is now included on the FAQ page. I think it might make it easier for MB if each entry had the series name in the comment subject line.
Looking for good reading material? We have some regular series that find the diaries that the community has overall supported (jotter), series that find the excellent diaries that our community has overlooked (Rescue Rangers), a series that provides an extensive list of environmental diaries (Green Diary Rescue), a series that highlights excellent comments (Top Comments) and a series that focuses on educational diaries (DK University). These are just a sampling. Hopefully, the FAQ page will be updated to provide a more thorough listing. So, next time you don't like what's on the rec list, please take a peek:
jotter does High Impact Diaries once each day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Top Comments every night.
The Rescue Rangers do Diary Rescue each night, holidays, rain or shine.
plf515 does Daily Kos University on Saturdays.
Meteor Blades does Green Diary Rescue & Open Thread twice a week.
The eKos editors write ekos earthship with a diary roundup and cool ekos widget!
DemFromCT and Barbara Morrill host Abbreviated Pundit Round-ups.
Steve Singiser does a roundup called Polling and Political Wrap. (Link to diary page because did not see tag for this series.)
And, NRDCActionFund writes a roundup of Congressional Candidates' Views on Clean Energy, Climate Change.
And we have lots of excellent diary series on a variety of issues or subjects and communities/sub-communities. LaughingPlanet reminded me this morning that smileycreek posted an excellent Welcome New Users: Celebrating DKos Communities last January. The community diaries listed were taken from the DK FAQ page that we are updating tonight.
Please provide the following information in the comments:
1. Name of series or community.
2. DK FAQ Category: These are new names for categories that don't presently exist on the FAQ page of diary series that have been tagged by the members/originators as a serial that is posted on regular basis. I think all of these have been approved. If you have a new category that you feel is more appropriate for your series, add to your comment, but please also add one of these in case your category is not approved.

Daily Kos Rules (This will probably mostly include diaries written by FP'ers, such as MB's Listening Posts, diaries on specific rules, and Collaborative Rule-Writing Project, but thought it might be easier access to have one little rule "library.")

3. Name of founder/originator of series, and list of members, hosts.
4. Day and general posting time (morning, afternoon, evening).
5. Brief description of series, community or sub-community.
6. Link to series tag page. (As sardonyx explains, a unique series tag, or one that is not being used by another series, is important because it makes it easier for readers to find your series. If you create a tag, then it is good idea to go back and add this tag to prior diaries.

Almost 4 decades ago, the EPA was created partially in response to the public health problems caused in our country by environmental conditions, which included unhealthy air, polluted rivers, unsafe drinking water and waste disposal. Oftentimes, the answer has been to locate factories and other pollution-emitting facilities in poor, culturally diverse, or minority communities.
