What a weak effort.

Extending Daylight Savings Time?

This is the best we can come up with?  Our daily consumption is 20,000,000 barrels of oil per day or at the current cost of about $58/barrel around $1.2 Billion dollars in oil consumed per day.  This bill from Congress plans to extend Daylight Savings Time by two months....

Starting in March and ending in November.  This will save us 10,000 barrels of oil per day or about $580,000/day.  Half of one percent.  So instead of wasting their time on stupid things like passing a bill requiring all new cars to be Bio-diesel compatible by the year 2010 or the building of a solar tower or any of the many other great ideas out there they choose to extend dyalight savings time... Extend Daylight Savings time???  Are you frigging kidding me?  I have heard some thoughts on Daylight savings time and the pointlessness of it.  Does anyone have any thoughts?
