I don't know what the final tally will be for those seeing President Obama today in Madison, WI today, but the line to see President Obama is almost a mile long right now and the security will start letting people in at 3:30.

The line started forming past my office about an hour ago and it just keeps on going... It is a beautiful day, sunny and 70, but as all residents of Wisconsin know, it is still the construction season and the President will be speaking in the Library Mall where there is not a lot of room right now.
With the first Presidential visit in 60 years the campus is abuzz with excitement, but many are already souring on the location, virtually no parking, and not a lot of room. When I saw Senator Obama in 2008, there were 17,000 people there, however today the venue is much much smaller and I am interested in seeing how this gets played in the media. I've heard, (which is almost as bad as some say) that the reason they choose the venue is that people were worried about filling the Kohl center. A packed mall would look better than a half filled stadium. But this is Madison, except for quite a few wingnuts, most of the people I know want to go see him. Should be fun
Gotta go, hope to see you there.
