Initially I was reluctant to post about this matter because I loath the victim, also I am quite busy at the moment. Robert Biedroń, a member of the KPH Board and its former president was allegedly beaten and injured by the Polish Police and held for twenty hours before being allowed to notify family. For the record I condemn the actions by the Polish Police, unconditionally.
I also make this post because , Robert is a topic in my newly released documentary film “Levi Johnston: Don’t Move!”. He is an opportunist not an activist – his history has shown itself in his private actions. He has decimated homosexuals within Poland’s gay community whom he has disagreed. Nonetheless he is human and police brutality is inexcusable.
Read previous dairies here, hereand here.
Violence against homosexuals or any citizens of free democratic republics by law enforcement is inexcusable and should not be tolerated. I have made an official protest to the treatment of citizen Biedroń to my government with hopes that it shall be forwarded via the official envoy.
Video of police beating:
The GLBT situation in Poland is dreadful and a huge storm is coming onto the scene and those who embolden the alleged fraud will be held accountable.
This video is from 2 years ago in it Biedron boast of his love for his new car, luxury apartment and business establishment. Guess where he got the money?
It is my experience that Robert Biedroń and persons involved in these associations have proven themselves to be dishonest as they siphon western donations meant to go to the GLBT. If you donate to a major GLBT organization it would be wise to ask if it contributes to Poland’s GLBT NGO´s.
Poland needs our help but to support individuals and organizations who have neither integrity nor honor defeats that noble intent of equality and human rights.
For lack of kinder words these organizations have perpetrated fraud and for those gays who wish to turn a blind eye you are just as guilty as they are. This especially includes the gay media.
According to the Polish mainstream newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, the police pressed charges of battery of a police officer against Mr Biedroń.
Gazeta Wyborczareported that, “according to the police, Mr Biedroń grabbed the policeman’s baton and then hit him in the face”.
“You know me, I’ve never displayed any aggression against anyone, and I’d certainly never display aggression against a uniformed police officer in full gear,” siad Biedroń.
