By now you've surely heard that OccupyWallStreet was NOT evicted. Here is the story that has not been told, until now . . .
So Occupy Wall Street and Daily Kos gatecrashed Mayor Bloomberg's jolly old cocktail party at Cipriani on 55 Wall Street.
Here's the raw footage
Bloomberg is out having cocktail parties with The Hospitals Association tonight, and tomorrow he is going to turn the quarrelsome peasants over to the police. This is the state of our nation. It is a total disaster. This is what Occupy Wall Street stands for to me, a defiant stance against the ravenous greed of those who would steal our future to fund their cocktail parties with their fellow patricians.
Another activist informed me that Bloomberg would be dining at Cipriani at 55 Wall St at 7:30am. We made our reservations at 7:23. I borrowed a sports jacket from someone and left my stuff at the media desk. Fellow kossack Tool and two other activists joined us for dinner with the oligarchs.
Here is footage shot from the balcony at Cipriani. I put on my cap and waved while people below took pictures and chanted "We Are The Source Of All Your Wealth."
We had a meal and the food was bland and overpriced. The music sounded like something you'd hear in the mall. The food at the kitchen down at Liberty Square is way better. They have no clue how to make a White Russian. We overtipped the waiters. If this is how rich people spend their money, on shitty overpriced food set to mall music amidst Roman columns and expensive decor, then we might as well raise their taxes, they obviously don't even know what good food is, and coming from a restaurant manager, I should know.
A floor below us, Bloomberg was having his usual Government via Cocktail party with his super rich buddies. Upstairs, we were toasting the Occupation.
Eventually we took turns walking around with smart phones taking pics and videos. Tool had a security guard demand he erase the memory on his phone when he got caught, because we all know that trying to film the billionaire mayor of New York during his cocktail party with the ruling class is forbidden by US law in the book of "How to strip you slowly of all freedoms". Fortunately, our lovely female co-conspirator got down inside the ball room and took some awesome footage of the splendor of the wealthiest 1%, set with wine and music and dancing and laughing and a copy of the Occupied Wall Street Journal. I'm sure the ruling wealthy too big to jail elite were yukking it up tremendously at the peasants outside raising a racket.
It is those times, late at night, when our drums roll loud into the night, when the young people laugh and dance because they have nothing to lose, it is then when I think that I am glad we are keeping the rich on the top floors awake at night with our racket. They sure as hell keep the working class awake at night with their rackets. It seems only fair to me.
More below the fold on the WSJ and how they have given me the greatest compliment of any so far.

Check it out, the Wall Street Journal attacks me for being too smart, not truly representative of the peasantry and not as working class as Peggy Noonan. Seriously. You know, Peggy Noonan, that outspoken voice for bombing people and sensible navel gazing, she who claimed that the tea party was organic, when it is about as organic as an ingrown toenail. I consider it an honor to draw the ire of these overpaid hacks. Apparently, they didn't see what happened to the last guy.
Capitalist Tool: Meet Jesse LaGreca, Disney's Audio-Animatronic revolutionary
Whether or not LaGreca is working-class at all, his assertion that that gives him singular status on Sunday news shows is plainly bunk. He appeared along with a panel consisting of Donna Brazile, Matthew Dowd, Peggy Noonan and George Will. (In case you missed it, ABCNews.com has the video.) Noonan, with whom we work, tells us that she and two of the other three panelists had what would be considered working-class upbringings. (The exception is Will, son of an epistemologist.)
Notice how not once did they mention that I got on This Week by bashing Fox News and News Corp to bits on youtube, or that the WSJ is owned by News Corp?
This hack attacks me for saying that Occupy Wall Street is effectively changing the narrative in this country from GOP created deficit hysteria to issues that affect the working class. Then, the News Corp clown who wrote this Rupert Murdoch funded drivel decries what hard work pushing narratives is. Projection much? He should try managing three restaurants at the same time 60 hrs a week with no affordable health care, or shoveling snow for money. I don't want to hear this yuppie jackhole tell me about hard work.
And we all know what backbreaking work it is to push narratives! In the bad old days before trade unions and labor regulations, children would earn just pennies as they toiled for 14 or 16 hours a day, shoving heavy narratives through dirty, dangerous vignette-shops.
Of course, children working 14 or 16 hours a day for pennies is the new GOP jobs plan. so the peasants should just go home and leave Zuccotti Park and just get used to it. Catfood. Get used to it.
Behold Jesse LaGreca, who boasts of his working-class street cred while speaking the elitist jargon of the professor-cum-president's failing administration. And he does so on ABC, owned by the Walt Disney Co. He's an Audio-Animatronic revolutionary.
Being intelligent and NOT a sell out to corporate wealth? Psshaw! Harrumph! And appearing on TV! Which is filtered and controlled by corporations like Disney? Why, he must be some clever analogy linked to Disney! they have refrigerators, what are they complaining about?!?!
The author of this flailing attempt to discredit me sucks at what he does. How does this hack get a job at WSJ? He must be the guy who gets the bagels on Friday morning and does the bosses' dry cleaning.
Seriously, you and I know that I would dismantle this guy in a debate faster than the American jobs at a company managed by Mitt Romney. It's not even a fair fight, but just in case you needed further proof of what an unscrupulous hack James Taranto is, there's this . . .
Watch James Taranto call the Democrats racist and try to simultaneously defend the tea party from charges of racism. This is what I call "running defense". It's what Karl Rove is great at, you blame the opposite of what you are trying to defend, but by placing blame you shift the narrative, and that is what these bought and paid for media gatekeepers hate. This hack says if the black vote was split between the GOP and Dems in 2008 then McCain would have won. he is implying that the GOP is NOT a racist party, and that is just a myth despite REALITY, and that black people are somehow racist themselves for siding with the black Presidential candidate in 2008. As O'Reilly says . . .
O'Reilly: Over the years you submit that the Democratic party has used racism as a political tool to keep African Americans in the fold. That's what you're submitting?
Taranto: Yes, absolutely.
Check. Mate. You racist clown. Black people know the GOP is screwing them, unless they are in the wealthiest 1% like CEO Herman Cain, or unless they have all of the other same bigotries the GOP worships like Allan West. Taranto seems to think that Obama being President means that African Americans no longer have a right to decry racism, and that Democrats smear racism to win their votes. This is a tremendous insult to the intelligence of African American voters. That is EXACTLY why those African American voters refuse to vote for racist Republicans. Sure, tea parties aren't racist, Dems are, and I'm an automated Disney caricature that spits RW hacks out and exposes them for the lazy and corrupt political hacks that they are. You're welcome.
So bring it on, News Corporation. If this is the best you got, I almost feel bad for you. And to be honest, I consider the highest of all compliments that you wasted page space attacking me. It tells me that I am doing something right.
To Bloomberg and his Oligarchs I have a message that we first got the idea for in Wisconsin, "Screw us and we will multiply."
Because if tomorrow is national eviction day, Saturday will be national Occupation day.
1. Get this message out there. Get the word out about these protests of Wall Street's greed to everyone you know. Raise awareness, even if it is via word of mouth, every little bit helps.
2. Use the twitter hashtags #OccupyWallStreet and follow us on facebook and twitter accounts related to the ongoing protests. Help put this video on your facebook pageand any other social media that you use. Make it viral.
3. Make a donation to WeAreTheOther99%'s media fund. They need funding to stay active, and without huge corporate interests backing us up like the Teabaggers have, the only way this works is with your small donations.
4. Go to OccupyWallSt.org and make a donation to our General Fund to support the ongoing protests.
5. To send care packages to Liberty Square, go to OccupyWallSt.org for more information. WE NEED WATER.
